Phil has been making the headlines throughout 2021 for various reasons. He shocked everyone when he recently won the PGA Tour’s PIP Fund. Currently competing at the 2022 Sentry Tournament of Champions, Phil had a decent round one. He is currently T25 with a score of -2.

Notably, Phil is around five strokes behind the leader, Cameron Smith, who leads the field with a score of -8. As for star players like Justin Thomas and Patrick Reed, they had a poor start as they are +1 thru round one. But since this is a no-cut event, all the players will make it to the weekend irrespective of their scores.
