Arsenal and Newcastle transfer target Aaron Ramsey forced to self-isolate after testing positive for Covid

Former-club Arsenal, as well as Everton, Newcastle, Burnley and Crystal Palace have all been linked with a move for the midfielder.
But a Juventus statement on Monday night confirmed Ramsey was forced into isolation following a positive Covid test.
It read: “Juventus Football Club announces that Aaron Ramsey has tested positive for Covid-19.
“The player has already been placed in isolation.”
Ramsey swapped Arsenal for Juve on a free transfer in the summer of 2019.
But injuries have hampered him and boss Massimiliano Allegri called him an ‘outgoing player’ last week.

Allegri has been desperate to flog the £400,000-a-week flop.
The Italian claimed: “Aaron Ramsey’s now set to leave Juventus. We’re working on it.
“There are no other changes or transfers in our plans, this is 99 per cent sure.”
Ramsey has managed only 49 Serie A appearances for Juve since his free transfer two-and-a-half years ago – scoring just five times.
