Every iPhone owner warned of simple error that exposes your private info
IF YOU think scribbling over sensitive information on screenshots will save you, think again.
As one TikToker has demonstrated, there is a way others might be able to reveal what’s underneath.

Blocking out things like passwords and passport numbers from photos using the pen tool on your phone is a common sight these days.
Especially if someone is sending a screenshot but wants to hide login details.
Or if someone is showing off a holiday snap with their passport in hand but wants to conceal the sensitive stuff.
But this could be a massive security blunder and may not cover information as well as you think.
TikTok user ambre_skye has shown how it works with the marker tool on the iPhone after doing a screenshot.
Going into the Photos app after and selecting the Edit button is where it all starts.
From there, all a person needs to do is adjust the Exposure and Brilliance options up to 100%.

And before you know it, the marker fades away, revealing everything you thought was hidden underneath.
“Make sure you know this iPhone Secret,” she warned her 780,000 followers.
“Now you know! Stay safe!”
Some users in the comments suggest scribbling over the bit you’re trying to mask several times instead.
But it’s probably safer to crop it out entirely or just not send such risky things out in the first place.
