From historic buzzer-beaters to trash-talking, this duo has seen everything a beef could look like in the NBA today. And now yet again, Damian Lillard drops the hammer on Russell Westbrook amid the media narrative of his poor performance.
Westbrook has come under the experts’ and media’s criticism for his poor run of performances recently. Moreover, he himself acknowledged his poor recent form. Yet Westbrook is one of those kinds of players who would still have the confidence to trash talk while he himself struggles. And Lillard had a rather cryptic take on Westbrook’s trash talking.

Damian Lillard Drops A Truth Bomb On Russell Westbrook
While speaking to ESPN about his opinion on Westbrook’s trash-talking, Lillard’s statement raised some eyebrows. He said, “I think he talks to himself out there.”
With this statement, Lillard re-instigates an on-court beef that could escalate from here. Westbrook and Lillard have had a history of tussles and incidents on the court that clearly show that they are not the fondest of each other. So is this a way for Lillard to call Westbrook crazy? History of Lillard’s Beef with Westbrook
Damian Lillard’s tussle with Westbrook started in 2019 in the Iconic playoff series between Blazers and OKC. As his usual self, Westbrook started trash-talking about how the Blazers got dominated by the OKC ever since Lillard came into the NBA. And he took it a step further by making it personal with Lillard.
