Chase Elliott & Dale Earnhardt Jr Share a Class Exchange Amid Daytona Testing Arrangement by Hendrick Motorsports
It has now been confirmed that Chase Elliott is such an icon that he can simultaneously be in two places. The Hendrick driver was at the ongoing Next Gen practice at Daytona, as well as taking part in the Chili Bowl Nationals.
But jokes aside, this is what the recent banter between Chase Elliott and his pal, Dale Earnhardt Jr. suggests at least.
Dale Jr., who ended up filling the vacant driver slots at Hendrick Motorsports since most of their drivers were away at CBN, posted a rather quirky picture of the Chevy Camaro. Or to put it more accurately, the car was fine, but it had a lot of “Chase Elliotts” on its bumper.
Earnhardt wrote on his Twitter, “32 @chaseelliott heads means 32 test runs in 2 days @DAYTONA. A month ago I was hoping for 1 or 2. Still on a high from making all those laps.”
Soon, Elliott joined in on the banter as he replied, “And here they were reporting I didn’t attend. Thanks for the help down there, pal.”

“Happy to help,” Earnhardt Jr. replied.
So yes, thanks to NASCAR’s former most popular driver, NASCAR’s current most popular driver was present in abundance at Daytona while racing a midget in Tulsa at the same time.
Chase Elliott – A big fan of dirt racing
The 2020 NASCAR Cup Series champion recently described his growing love for dirt racing.
He said, “I’ve enjoyed watching, and as the years have gone on, I’ve become a bigger fan of it. I guess I became a big enough fan where I wanted to challenge myself and go try and be a part of it.”

Along with his eagerness and passion for racing, Elliott also brought the level of performances fans are used to seeing from him in NASCAR.
Chase Elliott recently won his first heat race at the Chili Bowl Nationals as he hopes to improve, if not radically outdo himself, in his second appearance at the CBN.
