James Harden Sends Massive Warning to LeBron James, Stephen Curry: “We’re All Killers. We Attack. But We’re All Unselfish.”

The Brooklyn Nets proved that they are a completely different team with Kevin Durant, James Harden, and Kyrie Irving all together on the court. Despite having losses scattered across their schedule, the Nets have made it clear that no team can take them lightly. Harden – who is one of their highest scorers–recently sent a message to his on-court rivals.

While the Nets have lacked consistency, many continue to count them as top contenders from the Eastern Conference. The team is currently placed third with a 26-15 win-loss record. With their big three back on the court, the Nets beat conference-leading Chicago Bulls in a 138-112 encounter.

Did James Harden really take a dig at James and Curry?

James Harden spoke to the media after their win against the Bulls. He discussed the Nets as a team, also possibly sending a warning LeBron James and Stephen Curry’s way. “We’re all killers. We attack. But we’re all unselfish,” Harden said.

His words could indicate that, as a team, they work unselfishly. It could be a warning for the others, and maybe even a hint that some other players might be playing for themselves over their team.

Irrespective of what Harden meant, he did acknowledge his chemistry with Durant and Irving, which seemed to have slid right into place. “We’re that good,” Harden said. He added that they got a chance to play well, but what they need is more of these chances. The three haven’t even played 20 games together, and Harden claims they are working towards a point where that momentum is present.

The 2018 MVP admitted that they have to continue making the right plays, which requires them to be out on the court.

The Nets, after their win, ended up losing 130-109 against the Oklahoma City Thunder. With Durant out for the game, Harden looked tired. “Tired,” he admitted. “Exhausted.”

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander dropped 33 points, the OKC Thunder leading with ease without Durant around. Harden scored team-high 26 points.

The Nets will face the New Orleans Pelicans next on January 15 (January 16 IST).
