Bobby Lashley Drops Massive MMA Spoiler for Dream Match With Brock Lesnar: “It’s not going to be a pro-wrestling match because both of us got that fight background”

MMA and pro wrestling are obviously not the same. But there are individuals who have been successful in MMA and pro wrestling. Bobby Lashley and Brock Lesnar are two such individuals. Interestingly, Lesnar and Lashley never crossed paths.

However, for the first time, Bobby Lashley will battle Brock Lesnar inside the squared circle in a singles match at the WWE Royal Rumble 2022 PPV. Recently, Lashley appeared on WWE After The Bell with Corey Graves Podcast to talk about this dream match with Lesnar.

Lashley addressed his and Lesnar’s MMA and fight background and admitted it will not be much of a pro wrestling match. He noted people want to see how he and Lesnar prepare for the match.

Lashley said, “I think that’s what people want to see. They want to see the preparation. They want to see how me and Brock prepare for a fight.”

“We are not going to be doing the Hurricanranas. It’s not going to be so much of a pro wrestling match because both of us got that fight background and we have limited tools in our arsenal as far as what we do. So it’s going to be one of those gritty hard fights that people want to see,” he added.

The former WWE Champion thinks that various MMA and pro wrestling guys will want to see the fight and admitted that he is preparing for the fight.

This will certainly be a battle worth watching as rarely will you find such dominating superstars collide against one another in WWE.

Can Bobby Lashley defeat Brock Lesnar?

Brock Lesnar defeated Bobby Lashley, Big E, Seth Rollins, and Kevin Owens at the WWE Day 1 professional wrestling live event to win the WWE Championship. But one person who proved to be a threat to Lesnar in that match was Bobby Lashley.

The Almighty’ speared Lesnar twice. First, he speared Lesnar through the barricade and then again in the ring. He even caught the Beast Incarnate in the Hurt Lock submission. Hence, it will not be a simple task for Brock at the WWE Royal Rumble 2022 PPV.
