This came whilst she continued to appear as a professional dancer on Strictly, performing in group routines after being eliminated with contestant Ugo Monye.
Strictly became a family affair for the South African native after Motsi took up a seat on the panel left empty by Darcey Bussell in 2019.
However, with Oti looking at an increasingly busy schedule now she’s stepped up to a judging role, lots of fans have been wondering whether she will remain as part of the Strictly cohort.
Here’s everything we know so far about whether Oti will return to Strictly Come Dancing.

It’s not yet known whether Oti will be back on the dance floor when Strictly rolls around in September.
However, she’s further heightened speculation she won’t be returning to the show that made her famous when chatting ahead of Dancing On Ice.

Asked about her future on Strictly, she said to Metro.co.uk and other press: ‘So, there will be an announcement that will be made later.
‘But I think for me, as a person in entertainment, I really want to learn and I want to grow and I want a long career, especially in this country, I’ve come all the way from Africa.
‘So I have to make something of myself, I’m really trying to learn and do as much as I can for as long as I can, while I can.’

If she doesn’t, fans will still be able to see her on Dancing On Ice, The Masked Dancer and in her new dating show titled Romeo and Duet – which airs later this year.
Metro.co.uk previously approached representatives for Strictly Come Dancing for comment, who declined.
Dancing On Ice begins on Sunday night at 6.30pm on ITV.
