WATCH: Lando Norris Embraces the Daniel Ricciardo ‘Avocado’ Meme

Daniel Ricciardo is one of the most loved drivers in Formula One. People know the McLaren driver for his funny antics as well as his bright, big smile. The Aussie driver loves to joke and pull pranks on people and he is also not afraid to laugh at himself from time to time either.

One of his most popular interviews was with a kid who mispronounced his name. The kid called the 8-time race winner ‘Daniel Avocado’ instead of Daniel Ricciardo.

Unsurprisingly, there were a lot of memes based on the incident. His current teammate Lando Norris also joined in the fun. The young Brit mentioned the meme while explaining the ingredients in his wrap.

It is a mixture of wrap, chicken, Daniel Avocado, rice, and salad cream as the side platter. It is a beauty,” said Norris while describing his wrap.

Lando Norris explains his relationship with Daniel Ricciardo

As reported by Planetf1, Daniel Ricciardo joined the Woking-based team in 2021 to partner with Lando Norris. Although he couldn’t beat his younger teammate, they did share a friendly relationship off the track.

Norris compared his relationship with Ricciardo to his bromance with his former teammate Carlos Sainz.

“One thing is simple, our off-track interests are very different: he’s more into wine, clothes, and stuff, whereas I’m more into golf, Esports, and that sort of thing that Carlos was into as well,” said Norris on Ricciardo.

“[With Sainz] I played golf from time to time. We competed on the simulator and stuff like that. To have a closer relationship, one thing is clear, and that is that you need to spend time together and have fun, and golf is one of those things that made everything better,” concluded Norris.

The McLaren pair will be back as teammates for the 2022 season. Although Ricciardo will look to get the better of his teammate this time and hopefully challenge for the championship.
