LeBron James apologizes for the Lakers

At the start of the season, no one would have imagined the Lakers to be in this place. With all the names on their roster, they are still an average team so far. They are being led by a 37 year old LeBron James who is delivering some of his best basketball every night. However, his efforts have come to no avail. The Lakers have got flooding problems and major inconsistency in their star players. But James has assured the fans that there will be a turnaround.

The former league MVP has gone all out this season for the Lakers posting almost the best numbers of his career. The King is putting up 28.9 points, 7.5 rebounds and 6.5 assist per game. But, the Lakers haven’t been able to feed off his energy in any sense. And there are some major issues at hand.

First is their defense, which is one of the worst in the league. The Lakers are a lost cause on the defensive end and need to add an assertive defender in their roster. Next are their stars coming up short. Apart from LeBron, both Westbrook and Davis have undelivered so far. While Russ is struggling to find his place, AD has seen a huge change in his game. Hence, they will need these two stars to be at their best if they hope to find success this season.
