Users can select the option to “Silence Unknown Calls” which is located on the Settings page.

Should an unfamiliar number call, your iPhone will not ring and users will not be distracted, according to Yahoo.

Americans should also use their Find my iPhone option particularly if your device contains personal information such as passwords and bank account details.

You can log on to another Apple device using your personal ID and you can see where your phone is.

To activate Find My iPhone, go to the settings page and then tap your name.

Make sure that the options for Find my iPhone and Find My Network are switched on.

This means users can track their iPhones even if they’re offline.

But, make sure that the Send Last Location option is activated as it will send the precise location of where your iPhone is before the battery drains.

When using Find My iPhone, users should make sure that their location settings are activated.

Another clever hack is to disable Background App refresh when using your device.

You don’t need to refresh all of your apps and users will be able to save battery life.

Apps that are running can also incur a data charge so Americans could face extra costs if they are on a limited phone plan.

Eagle-eyed users will have noticed that the Safari address bar is now located at the bottom of their iPhone screen.

Some have adapted to the new change, while others who may have used previous versions of iOS are struggling to get used to it.

To move the address bar back to the top of the page, simply go to Settings, then scroll down at click on Safari, according to Tech Advisor.

There you will be presented with the choice to switch between the tab bar and a single tab.

Click on “single tab” to move your address bar back to the top of the page.

Users can also download Google Chrome if they do not like using the default Safari browser.

Chrome can be downloaded from the App Store and there’s an option on Settings to make it your default browser.

Chrome was first released in September 2008 and is considered one of the safest web browsers.

It’s reported that Chrome has over two billion users.
