Kim Kardashian ‘hires new security team with no Kanye West connections’ amid ‘fears’ for Pete Davidson romance

Kim Kardashian has hired an ‘all new security team’ amid her bitter split from husband Kanye West, it has been claimed.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, 41, filed for divorce from the Gold Digger rapper, 46, at the beginning of last year, after six years of marriage.

Following their split, the former couple have both moved on, with the Skims businesswoman looking very cosy with Pete Davidson, while the Grammy winner is now dating Julia Fox.

The dad-of-four recently made headlines when he claimed that security stopped him from entering her home when he went to pick their children up for school.

An insider has now said that he was never allowed free access to their home after their break-up, something that was ‘agreed upon verbally’.

‘There is no way that Kim is going to let Kanye just roam back into the house – and never has since the day he left,’ they told the Sun.

‘She’s hired a new security team – so there was no one with any previous connection to Kanye.

‘She does not want to be drawn into any battle with him – but she’s had enough now. The rules are clear, and they agreed them at the start. I think she’s really worried and feels under attack.’

Kim is also said to be worried about how the drama could impact her budding romance with Pete, as she doesn’t want the Saturday Night Live star ‘dragged’ into anything.

‘While Pete is being supportive, it does put a strain on them and she’s worried it’ll ruin what they have – Kim is trying her hardest to draw a line as to what she involves him in – nobody wants him dragged into a divorce battle that’s nothing to do with him,’ they added.

However, a source told Metro.co.uk that this couldn’t be further from the truth.

Ye signed over their former martial home to Kim, and later purchased a property across the street in a bid to be closer to their children, North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm.

Speaking in an interview with Hollywood Unlocked, he told Jason Lee that he was prevented from going into the property by security recently, when he went to pick the little ones up.

‘Earlier this week, Monday, when I went to go pick my kids up from school, the security stopped me at the gate,’ he claimed.

‘So at that point, security was in between me and my children and that’s what was not going to happen. But I didn’t want to argue about it. So I just chilled, took my kids to school, and then took my kids back.

‘I am driving. I bring them back and North was like, “I want you to come upstairs and see something.” And it’s like, “Oh, Daddy can’t come see something. Daddy can’t come inside.” But that hadn’t been defined.’

He added: ‘Security ain’t going to be in between me and my children, and my children ain’t going to be on TikTok without my permission.’

Metro.co.uk has contacted Kim’s reps for a comment.
