Three HIDDEN iPhone tricks all Apple fans should try now

YOU may think you’ve tried every feature iPhone has to offer but Apple is always full of surprises.

Here are three of the more obscure iPhone features that are actually very useful.

Three finger trick

If you make a mistake while typing on your iPhone you can swipe three of your fingers to the left of the screen and it should undo automatically.

If you single tap with three fingers you should notice a quick toolbar pop up.

This hidden iPhone toolbar includes things like a redo button, an undo button, and cut and paste options.

Use Airplane mode to hang up

It’s rude to put the phone down on someone mid-conversation but there’s a way to fake a poor connection.

If you find yourself needing to get out of an awkward phone call, you can put your iPhone on Airplane mode.

This should send a call failed error message and not an indicator that you just hung up.

Turn on Night Shift

Apple’s Night Shift feature may help you sleep better.

It can reduce the amount of blue light entering your eyes from your iPhone.

Blue light notoriously messes with your ability to sleep because it blocks a hormone called melatonin and that’s the one that makes you sleepy.

Go to Settings and then click “Display & Brightness”.

Here you can turn Night Shift on and even set a timer for it to turn on and off automatically each day.

In other news, Nasa has its eye on eight asteroids that are all set to make a ‘close approach’ to Earth in January.

Ancient life on Mars is one possible explanation for a recent discovery by Nasa’s Curiosity rover.

And, China has built an ‘artificial moon’ to train its astronauts for future missions.
