‘I can’t wait to see you tomorrow’: Bob Saget’s widow Kelly Rizzo reveals heartbreaking final text exchange hours before his death
Bob Saget’s wife Kelly Rizzo was overcome with emotion as she recalled their poignant final conversation, before his sudden death.
The Full House actor died at the age of 65, on January 9, with tributes pouring in on social media.
His body was found in his hotel room, in Orlando, Florida, but his cause of death has yet to be confirmed.
Rizzo, 42, appeared in an emotional sit-down interview on the Today show, opened up about the heartbreaking last messages she received from the comedian.
Discussing the texts, she revealed how thankful she was that they were filled with ‘love’.
‘I was just very grateful that it was all, “I love you so much”. I think I said, “I love you dearly,” and he said, “I love you endlessly,’ she said.

‘I said, “I can’t wait to see you tomorrow.” And then, you know, it was just all very — it was just all love.’
Rizzo became emotional at points as she remembered spending time with her late husband before his death.
‘He valued every single second that we had together, so that’s why this is so heartbreaking,’ she said through tears.
‘But at the same time, every second we had together was maximised to the fullest. There was nothing left unsaid and nothing left on the table.

‘He was just the best man I’ve ever known in my life, and he was just so kind and so wonderful, and everybody that was in his life knew it.’
Rizzo also took a moment to thank fans for their support through a very tough time for her family.
‘I was just telling some of my family that today there’s a little bit more of a sense of calm,’ she added. ‘I think you get to a point where your body will physically not let you cry anymore. Still every second is horrible but you start to come to terms with it a little bit.
‘The support has been the one silver lining, is the incredible outpouring of love and support. I don’t know how else I’d be getting through this right now.’

Rizzo and Saget met in 2015 and tied the knot three years later.
The lifestyle blogger was the actor’s second wife – he was previously married to Sherri Kramer, who he shared three daughters with.
Officials confirmed Saget’s death, with a brief statement revealing there were no signs of foul play or drug use.
‘Earlier today, deputies were called to the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes for a call about an unresponsive man in a hotel room,’ they said.
‘The man was identified as Robert Saget & pronounced deceased on scene.’
