Kamaru Usman Not Happy With UFC’s Bias Towards Ciryl Gane Ahead of Francis Ngannou Fight

Francis Ngannou and Ciryl Gane will clash against each other in the main event of UFC 270. The latter is the interim heavyweight champion of UFC. Meanwhile, Ngannou become the UFC heavyweight champion in 2021.

However, he has had many differences with the promotions since he became the champion. Earlier, he also stated that this could be his last fight in the UFC. And the feud is still fresh as he prepares for his first-ever title defense.

Recently, UFC posted a picture of both the combatants on the stories of their official Instagram page. However, they referred to ‘Bon Gamin’ as ‘The Champ’ while they wrote ‘The Predator’ on the heavyweight champion Ngannou’s image.

The UFC welterweight champion and Ngannou’s long-time friend Kamaru Usman noticed this. And he quickly responded to the UFC by posting a story on his account with a confused face emoji.

However, it is still not clear whether the UFC made a mistake or wrote it on purpose because of their ongoing feud with the heavyweight champion.

‘The Predator’ is yet to sign a new contract with the UFC. However, he has one fight left on his contract, i.e. the heavyweight title fight against Ciryl Gane. The latter is a former training partner of the champion.

‘Bon Gamin’ is one of the best technical fighters in the division. He is currently on a ten-fight undefeated streak and can be a tough fight for the Cameroonian fighter. However, ‘The Predator’ believes he can end the fight within two rounds.

Francis Ngannou Predicts a Knockout Victory at UFC 270

‘The Predator’ is one of the most vicious fighters in the promotion. He has devastating power in his gloves and has knocked out many of his opponents in the first round.

Ngannou is currently on a five-fight undefeated streak and has finished all his previous five opponents, four in the first round. Interestingly, the Cameroonian fighter has predicted yet another knockout win.

In an interview ahead of his fight at UFC 270, Ngannou said, “The knockout doesn’t come when I search for it. So, I won’t be searching for the knockout. But I don’t see how we will end this fight without me knocking him out, maybe under 2 rounds.”

Considering his previous fight results, it won’t be a walk in the park for ‘The Predator’ to face the Frenchman. However, Ngannou has many times proved why he is the best heavyweight in the division currently. Hence, we might see yet another knockout win from the champion.
