Meet Roman Reigns’ Unknown Cousins Who Have Nothing To Do With WWE

The “Tribal Chief”, “Head of the Table” Roman Reigns is the hottest thing in the pro-wrestling world right now. He has come a long way from his days with ‘The Shield’ and he is now stuck in his controversial WWE push to become what he is today.

Roman Reigns belong to the legendary Samoan family who has been in the industry for a long time. He is part of the Anoaʻi wrestling family, which also includes his father, Sika Anoaʻi, and brother Rosey. 

His cousins are Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso, Solo Sikoa, Rikishi, Umaga, The Tonga Kid, and the late Yokozuna. He is not a direct cousin of The Rock, they are blood brothers.

Apart from his aforementioned cousins, Roman has more cousins who are not in WWE or far away from the pro-wrestling world. Let us take a look at all those cousins of Roman Reigns.

Samula Anoa’i-

Samula Anoa’i is the oldest son of Afa Anoa’i Sr. He is wrestling under the Samu. Samu has wrestled for WWE, WCW, and ECW. Since 1996, he is wrestling on the independent circuit.

Afa Anoa’i Jr. –

Afa Anoa’i Jr. has been wrestling since 1998 under the name Manu. He is the son of Afa Anoa’i Sr. Manu has made some appearances in WWE, but has been wrestling in the independent circuit for a long time.

Bernadette Anoa’i Shroyer

Bernadette Anoa’i-Shroyer is the sister of Samula Anoa’i and daughter of Afa Anoa’i Sr. She has kept a low profile and is away from the wrestling world.

Lloyd Anoa’i

Lloyd Anoaʻi is the son of Afa Anoa’i Sr. He has also wrestled for WWE and ECW under the names of Tahitian Savage, Fred Williams, Lloyd Lanui, and LA Smooth. Now Lloyd, alongside his father, is a trainer in their wrestling school and wrestles on the independent circuit.

Monica Anoa’i

Monica Anoa’i, daughter of Afa Anoa’i Sr. She was the wife of late wrestler Gary Albright. Since Gary died, she is away from the wrestling world.

 Samuel Fatu

Older brother of Rikishi, Samuel Fatu wrestled in WWE and WCW for some time in the 80s and 90s under the name The Tonga Kid and The Samoan Savage. Most of his later career was spent wrestling on the independent circuit. Now he is away from the WWE limelight.

Thavana Monalisa Fatu

Thavana is the daughter of Rikishi and sister of The Usos. She has made some appearances with her father outside the wrestling world. She is a model, fashion designer, and songwriter.

Jeremiah Peniata Fatu

Jeremiah is another son of Rikishi. Unlike his brothers Usos, he has kept a low profile and is away from the wrestling world. We sometimes see him with his brothers and family.

Tanoai Reed

Tanoai Reed’s relationship with Roman Reigns is like that of The Rock. They are not cousins but blood brothers. Tanoai is Rock’s cousin and also his stuntman from Hollywood. 

Not all the Samoan family members are in wrestling. Some have appeared in lesser-known wrestling companies and are on independent circuit while some have chosen not to be in the wrestling industry and have an alternate career. Roman Reigns has a humongous family, some of whom live in the USA and some are on the Samoan Islands and Hawaii.
