The Undertaker Knocked Out WWE Legend in the Middle of the Ring at MSG: ‘He Hit Me, I Went Down Like a Shot and Didn’t Know Where I Was’

Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Undertaker are easily two of the most renowned names in the WWE Universe. There probably is no one within the pro-wrestling fandom who doesn’t know the two legends.

However, like everyone has their favourite moments of ‘The Deadman’ and ‘The Texas Rattlesnake’, they also have their favourite moments with each other. Recently, Stone Cold answered a fan’s question about his most memorable moment with Taker.

Apparently, one chin-shot from Taker took down Stone Cold, and he actually had a hard time figuring out where he was.

“SummerSlam. It was in New York City at Madison Square Garden. Taker had been over. He was gonna give me a backdrop, and I kicked him in the chest and he was gonna straighten up and just stand there. But, when I kicked him, he ripped his head up with such force, it caught right under the chin.”

“Taker’s got a big a** mug on him, you know, right? He’s got a big head. He hit me right on the chin. About a second later, I went down like a shot. I was only out for a millisecond, but I didn’t know where I was.”

‘The Texas Rattlesnake’ remembered nothing from that point till the end of the match. Moreover, he had asked the referee, Earl Hebner, to remind him where he was after getting hit by Taker.

Stone Cold Steve Austin revealed a second memorable moment with The Undertaker

Fans who followed WWE during Stone Cold and Taker’s time will know about the cross.

There exists a time in history when Steve Austin was tied to the cross and put up in the air. This moment has never truly been recreated by another, and remains historic to this day.

“Another time was when we were, I can’t remember what it was with the corporate ministry or whatever, but that night they put The Undertaker symbol, which was kind of like a cross. They crucified me on that cross and tried me up, and then the crane pulled me up in the air into the arena… I was standing up there on the platform, my hands were tied to the cross. I’ll tell you what, man, it was the most weird, eerie, surreal feeling that I’ve ever felt. It was overwhelming.”

Over the years, Stone Cold and The Undertaker have given the WWE Universe several noteworthy moments. Even though they have been away from WWE for a while now, their presence can be expected at Royal Rumble 2022 and WrestleMania 38!
