“This Could Be Me” – Boxing Prodigy Reveals How Mike Tyson Inspired Him to Take Up Boxing

In the old boxing era, Mike Tyson grabbed all the fame and buzz. After the departure of Muhammad Ali, boxing lovers craved another flamboyant star. Tyson took over the sport, filled the void, and became a noteworthy face of the heavyweight roster.

With his boxing stint, Tyson inspired many to lace up the boxing gloves. An 18-year-old prodigy in Aloys Youmbi aka Aloys Junior was one such name.

Junior, who inked a 5-year deal with Frank Warren’s Queensberry Promotions, told iFL TV about how ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ inspired him.

“When I was young, I say when I was like six or seven years old, I saw Mike Tyson knock someone out. I was like, yeah, this is me. I’m like, yeah, this could be me,” he said.
