Warriors Forward Makes Interesting Claim on Returning Klay Thompson: “Never Really Seen…”

The Golden State Warriors are one of the NBA’s most powerful franchises. The Warriors have a global fanbase of supporters due to their various successes in the NBA. Some mega stars like Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, and other younger stars are on the franchises’ roster. Recently, a young star commented on the return of Klay Thompson to the starting lineup.

Youngster Jonathan Kuminga made a compelling claim about Klay Thompson’s return from injury. Connor Letourneau a sports enterprise writer for the San Francisco Chronicle reported on Kuminga’s comments in a post game conference. Kuminga noticed that Thompson passed the ball much better in NBA games on his return to the team.

Kuminga said, “Me growing up watching Klay play basketball, I’ve never really seen him pass the ball the way he did today. So, it was pretty surprising“. The Warriors drafted Kuminga in the 2021 NBA Draft as their 7th pick.

Thompson has just returned from a long period of injury and recovery period. He missed the entire 2019-20 season due to an ACL injury and had to undergo surgery on his injury. He returned from injury in September 2020, but unfortunately, he sustained another injury which confirmed his absence for the entire 2020-21 season.

The Warriors most recently secured a 130-92 win against Luka Doncic’s Dallas Mavericks. It remains to be seen if the Warriors qualify for the 2022 NBA Finals.
