I’ve opened my mouth too wide: Former Red Bull junior Dan Ticktum

As reported by Speedweek, the former Red Bull junior stated that he, on occasions spoke too much and said things that he shouldn’t have said. He also pointed out how things are different in Formula E as compared to Formula 1.

“I’ve opened my mouth too wide and said things that I shouldn’t have said. We’re all professionals and everyone can keep their identity a little more than on the way to Formula 1, where you have to stay spotless and really not say anything.

Especially in today’s society, and that’s a real problem for me because I find it ridiculous,” said Ticktum.

“You have to find a balance to please both of them. Because the more good results you get, the more you can say what you want,” said Dan.

Although it is important to voice your opinion, we have known Ticktum to speak in an unruly manner, and he has expressed himself poorly frequently. But it is good to see him focusing more on his personal results from now on. If he performs well in Formula E, then he might be able to regain some respect from the fans.
