Phillip Schofield couldn’t contain his delight as he enjoyed a family night out in London.

The Dancing On Ice host, 59, was joined by ex-wife Stephanie as they celebrated daughter Ruby’s 26th birthday in style.

He could be seen leading the way as the gang hit the streets of the capital, laughing and joking together as they strolled along.

They were later seen making their way into the theatre to watch Les Miserables together.

Basically our dream evening.

Their night out comes after Phillip revealed the emotional state that After Life season three left them all in, during a recent instalment of This Morning.

Many have been overcome by emotion by Ricky Gervais’ critically-acclaimed Netflix comedy-drama, with the final episodes dropping recently.

In the third series, we continued to follow Tony Johnson as he dealt with the aftermath of his wife’s death, with Brandy – the dog that he shared with her – tugging on all of our heartstrings.

Anti, who stars as the beloved pet, made a surprise appearance on the ITV studios, with the presenter detailing how taken his entire family were with the German Shepherd.

He began: ‘We’re watching it as a family and we’ve got our group, and it was my eldest daughter who said, “Oh my god, we’ve just finished series three and we’re in bits.

‘Her and her boyfriend Will they’re absolutely in bits. They were I think one show ahead of me, and I got to the end of it and I posted this picture on our group.’

‘That’s me at the end of After Life,’ he explained as a photo of him in tears flashed up on the screen.

‘It was actually Brandy, Anti, that did a lot of that to me. It’s a stunning series to be in.

‘It’s absolutely beautiful.’

It sounds like Les Mis is just what they all needed after that drama…
