Upcoming February seasonal events in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day is an annual festival to celebrate romantic love, friendship, and admiration celebrated on February 14. Interestingly, Nintendo also lets players get their hands on special in-game valentine items by participating in the event. The event starts on February 1 and lasts till February 14.

Furthermore, unlike other seasonal events, villagers also get involved in Valentine’s Day events. If you have a high friendship level with your villagers, they will send you a chocolate heart or a heart-shaped bouquet. However, if you don’t have enough friendship level with them, you can also buy these items from Nook’s Stop.

The Carnival of Venice event in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Another seasonal event that players would take part in February is the Carnival of Venice. Moreover, this seasonal event is debuting this year in New Horizons and users can get their hands on some exclusive awards. After the launch of the 2.0 update, Nintendo will introduce Venetian Carnival Mask in honor of the Carnival of Venice event.

You can only buy the Venetian Carnival Mask during the Carnival of Venice, from February 7 to March 1. There are different varieties of the mask such as Gold, Pink, Blue, Silver, and White.

Hinamatsuri

Hinamatsuri or Girl’s Day is an event in the Animal Crossing series that occurs runs from February 25 to March 3. During the event, players can purchase the Hinaningyo (Doll) and Blossom Lantern on alternate days from Nook Stop.
