ED SHEERAN is the most played artist on the radio in the world — with 4.3million spins in a year.
The Shape Of You singer, 30, beat fellow Brit Dua Lipa, 26, into second place.

She got 4.2million plays, just 100,000 less than Ed.
Canadian singer The Weeknd, 31, was in third with three million plays, rockers Queen came fourth with 2.9million followed by US band Maroon 5, in fifth place with 2.8million.
The report, by net music platform Viberate, analysed 24,000 radio stations in 150 countries.
While pop music was the most popular genre, with 141million plays, rock had a resurgence and was the second biggest genre with 79.9million spins.
Queen, whose frontman Freddie Mercury died in 1991, were the most played radio rock act last year.
Drummer Roger Taylor, 72, said: “I take great joy in the fact there’s an awful lot of love for us still. It constantly surprises me.”

Meanwhile Justin Bieber, 27, has the most followers on Spotify, with 13.5million new fans last year alone.
But his 4.6million streams are only second to Olivia Rodrigo, 18, with 5.1billion.
