I found the perfect dress for my graduation but mum says it looks like I’m going to strip club – my hips are her fault

IT’S pretty much a rite of passage that we’ll probably wear something our parents absolutely hate at one point or another.

But while we couldn’t care less about what they made of our ripped jeans or mini skirts when we were a teen, TikToker Louise May has been left in a bit of a tough spot after her mum weighed in on her graduation gown.

Earlier this month, the TikTok star bought a stunning red ASOS midi dress with a sweetheart neckline and thigh-high split for the special day.

Naturally, Louise – who works as a actress and singer – wanted to show her mum what her new frock looked like on.

However, she was left fuming over the response she got.

In a viral video that’s racked up over five MILLION views, Louise quoted her mum’s savage (and pretty hilarious) opinion on the dress.

She allegedly told Louise: “It’s a graduation, not a strip club!”

That said, Louise still loves the dress – but started questioning if it might be a bit too revealing thanks to her mum’s feedback.

She added: “I know if I was smaller, the dress wouldn’t be a problem.

“Like it’s your fault I have hips mum – now what?!”

Needless to say, people in the comments LOVED the look and urged Louise to still wear it anyway.

One wrote: “Umm this is very classy??? Is your mom okay?”

Another joked: “What strip club is your mom going to ??”
