Adele to take on Brits in first performance after Las Vegas cancellation as she shuts down rumours about Rich Paul relationship

Adele has confirmed she will perform in next week’s Brit Awards ceremony following the cancellation of her Las Vegas residency.

The Easy On Me hitmaker, 33 also took time to address the speculation that there was trouble brewing between her and boyfriend Rich Paul.

According to reports, the couple have had trouble spending time with one another with some claiming that Rich was the reason Adele pulled the plug on her highly-anticipated live gig.

The global star took to Instagram and shared a blurry picture of herself smiling, alongside she wrote: ‘Hiya, so I’m really happy to say that I am performing at the Brits next week!!

‘Anddddd I’ll also be popping in to see Graham [Norton] for a chat on the couch while I’m in town too! I’m looking forward to it!’

Not passing up the opportunity to shut down reports that her relationship with Rich is in trouble, she went on to add: ‘Oh, and Rich sends his love ♥️’.

Brit bosses were reportedly ‘scrambling to find alternative arrangements’ after it was rumoured Adele wouldn’t be performing at the annual event, which will air on ITV on February 8.

It’ll be the first performance for Adele since she cancelled her shows in Las Vegas in a tearful video.

‘Hiya, listen – I’m so sorry but my show ain’t ready,’ she said at the time.

‘We’ve tried absolutely everything we can to pull it together in time and for it to be good enough for you but we’ve been absolutely destroyed by delivery delays and Covid.

‘Half my crew, half my team have come down with Covid – they still are – and it’s been impossible to finish the show.

‘And I can’t give you what I have right now and I’m gutted. I’m gutted and I’m sorry it’s so last minute.

‘We’ve been awake for over 30 hours now, trying to figure it out and we’ve run out of time.’

She later thanked her fans for their support, and FaceTimed around 50 fans who made the journey to Las Vegas.

Meanwhile, people have been left uncertain about the future of the shows, as photos emerged of the stage being dismantled.
