Eddie Boxshall has posted some cryptic messages to Instagram weeks after his split from Denise Van Outen.
The pair, who had been together for seven years and were engaged to be married, went their separate ways in January.
While Denise, 47, confirmed the break-up in a social media post, Eddie has been largely silent, save for sharing cryptic posts on Instagram.
Now the city trader has posted another message to his account which could be taken as a dig towards his ex-fiancee.
Taking to Instagram stories, Eddie, 47, posted a photo bearing the words: ‘I’d rather be alone than be with someone who makes me feel lonely’.
The image has since disappeared from Eddie’s account, but the Celebrity Gogglebox star quickly uploaded a new one with more hopeful – and humorous -words.

The second message reads: ‘Due to personal reasons… I’m gonna focus on myself, my inner peace and what I’m going to eat later’.
Lately, Eddie has been updating fans with his personal fitness journey, sharing multiple images of him working out at home and the gym.
Denise, meanwhile, was recently spotted taking a boating trip with friends along with River Cam in Cambridge as the pair get used to living the single life again.

The TV star had announced their break-up last month in a post explaining: ‘Over the past couple of months, there has been much speculation regarding my relationship with Eddie. It saddens me to confirm that we are no longer a couple.’
She continued: ‘I had to make the difficult decision not to continue in our relationship. I will always treasure the good times we spent together, and the memories made.’
Following the split, the former couple were hit with cheating rumours, which Eddie appeared to put to bed with yet another cryptic post on his socials.
The father-of-two posted a photo of a white banner, with the words ‘Don’t Believe Everything You Read’ written across it.

He added a number of hashtags to the post, which read: ‘#dontbelieveeverythingyouread #newsarticle #chippaper #pressb******t #donttroll #bekind #youdontknowme #youdontknowthetruth’.
Eddie also chose to disable comments on his post.

Denise and Eddie first met in 2014 when they were set up on a blind date by presenter Zoe Hardman.
They were regulars on Celebrity Gogglebox, often making fans laugh with their quick wit and flirty banter, and had planned to tie the knot this year before their shock break-up.
