‘Do not try that at home’: Lorraine Kelly mocks Gwyneth Paltrow’s baffling ‘vagina candle’ Super Bowl ad

Lorraine Kelly had to hold in her giggles as she urged viewers at home to refrain from taking a bite out of Gwyneth Paltrow’s ‘vagina candle’ after the star ate her beloved creation in a recent Super Bowl advert.
In the new ad, the 49-year-old actress was seen taking a bite out of the candle, yes you read correctly, before telling the camera: ‘This candle tastes funny. Not bad, but funny.’
The 62-year-old presenter rounded up Thursday’s titular show with the advert, and couldn’t contain her laughter when it came to talking about the businesswoman’s ‘special’ product.
‘You got Super Bowl coming up and this one is for Uber Eats,’ said correspondent Ross King about the ad.
‘And well, she eats the candle.’
Reacting to the clip, Lorraine still felt the need to put out an obvious disclaimer.

‘It’s crazy. Please do not eat your vagina candle,’ she exclaimed. ‘Do not try that at home.
‘I’m amazed I’ve got to say that but…’
Actress Jennifer Coolidge and comedian Trevor Noah were also involved in the campaign, with Jennifer eating lipstick, and Trevor chomping on a stick of deodorant.
Thankfully, all of the items are not actually real and have been made from prop foods, but nonetheless, is not something you should try at home, with the ad telling viewers: ‘Get anything. Don’t always eat it’ and Gwyneth’s, in particular, noting: ‘Prop food. Do not eat anatomy candles’.

Gwyneth’s famous candle, called This Smells Like My Vagina, is iconic to her Goop brand (started as a newsletter in 2008) and was released in January 2020. Due to the popularity of the novelty item, it’s since sparked some spin-offs on the site, with a new candle called Hands Off My Vagina released for charity.
The new limited edition candle has been launched in order to celebrate the 49th anniversary of Roe vs Wade, and will benefit the ACLU Foundation’s Reproductive Freedom Project.
