Clarkson’s Farm’s Kaleb Cooper concerns fans with wound months after being shot in the leg: ‘You need to get that checked out’

Clarkson’s Farm star Kaleb Cooper worried fans on his social media after revealing he still has a shot pellet in his leg, several months on from the incident.
The farming sensation, who acts as Jeremy Clarkson’s right-hand man on the Amazon Prime series, revealed he’d been shot in the final episode of the first season.
He told Jeremy he was unable to climb a ladder due to his injury, which left his co-star and colleague shocked.
But it seems the wound is still giving him problems, as he shared an update on his Instagram page – with the pellet still in his leg.
In a clip, the pellet was clearly visible as he was joined by his young son Oscar and partner Taya.
Taya, could be heard in the background asking the youngster: ‘What’s this? Is it Daddy’s poorly leg?’

Oscar’s hand slapped his dad’s leg, leading Kaleb to exclaim: ‘Ouch!’
He captioned the clip: ‘I’m not sure this helps the pellet still in my leg. P.S put sunglasses on while you look at my leg.’
Fans quickly commented, urging him to go and get checked out by a doctor, with a fan sharing: ‘Pretty sure you should go and have that out mate lol.’

Someone else added: ‘I’d get a second opinion Kaleb, it can’t be good for you having a piece of lead hanging around inside slowly poisoning your body.’
‘I am no doctor like but I think it would be fair to say that it would be best to have that hooked out at some point fairly soon,’ another wrote.
In response, Kaleb reassured his followers he’d sought medical advice for the pellet, but was advised to ‘keep it in’.
Kaleb told Jeremy on-screen last year what led to the unfortunate accident: ‘I was with a group of mates in a circle playing football and he got his air rifle and accidentally shot me in the leg.’
Jeremy responded: ‘You’re kidding, with an air rifle?’
Showing Jeremy his injury on his shin, Kaleb added his friend: ‘Shot me from about four metres away.’
Meanwhile, the show has been recently criticised by health and safety groups after new promotional pictures were released,
In one promotion photo, Jeremy is seen driving a cultivator, with his co-star Kaleb lying in the weight box at the front.
Stephanie Berkeley, manager of the Farm Safety Foundation, told Farmers Weekly that Clarkson’s Farm could have encouraged more responsible use of farming equipment.

‘This programme could be a great way to help improve this, so it is a pity that they chose to use this photo displaying such poor safety behaviour,’ she said,
‘Agriculture continues to have the poorest safety record of any occupation in the UK and we are working hard to change that.’
