How a fancy-frilled shirt can dress-up any outfit – team it with grungy jeans or a maxi and you’re set, says Jane Moore
USUALLY, I’m a no frills kind of gal, but I’ll make an exception for this cute, Victoriana-style blouse.
Frothy and fancy frills are cropping up on catwalks – and the trend is already storming the high street.

At first sight, there’s a lot going on with the yoke, pussy-bow neck and gathered sleeves, but if you team it with something a little more grungy like denim jeans or this maxi skirt, then the two offset each other nicely for a feminine but not too “girly” look.
I’ve teamed it with modern-style ankle boots in the same buttermilk cream colour as the blouse.
The last few months of modelling these individual looks has been fun for me, but I’ll now be doing the occasional fashion spread to test out trends on your behalf.
Keep your suggestions coming.
