Brown Deer active shooter – Gunman ‘opens fire from apartment building balcony in Wisconsin leaving two dead’

SWAT teams have responded reports of an active shooter who allegedly opened fire from an apartment building balcony in Wisconsin.

Authorities scrambled to the scene in  Brown Deer, a suburb of Milwaukee, after reports of gunfire on Saturday morning.

Police scanner traffic suggested that there were several people injured at the scene, with unconfirmed reports of fatalities.

There is a heavy police presence at the apartment complex, local media reported.

CBS58 reported at least two armored police vehicles are at the scene.
