“Get This Old Man Outta Here”: Enraged Fans Trash WWE for Bringing Back Goldberg for Massive Match

WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg made a shocking return to WWE on tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown. The WWE Universe must have missed him, but following his recent return, several people seemed unhappy.

This is because Goldberg will be challenging Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship at the 2022 Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event.

Several fans wanted a younger talent to get the opportunity instead of the former WWE Universal Champion.

It is secret to none that this will be Goldberg’s last match in WWE, according to his current WWE contract. Thus, it is less likely that he will get the win against Reigns at the 2022 Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event.

Several fans took to Twitter to express their disappointment regarding this situation.

Enough of this shit. It’s old news. Get new ideas. Holy fuck. Build new stars. This Goldberg shit is old. 1 match on his contract so you won’t give him the belt. Hire some actual creative writers Holy shit.

I’m a fan of Goldberg’s but come on WWE, push your younger talent that’s on the main roster. Ya’ll had the talent, but let them go due to “budget” which we fans know is bullshit.

When wwe doesn’t want to use any of their new wrestlers they send in Goldberg why??

It amazes me how this man can walk on to a show and tell a champion your next? How does this make any sence? Shit just sucks!

You guy’s really gave Seth Rollins a championship match built an entire storyline around Seth’s & Roman’s history had that match end in an DQ just for Oldberg to come out and get a championship opportunity.

One fan put question marks on WWE’s booking of Goldberg and compared Goldberg’s WWE booking to Sting’s booking in AEW. The fan pointed out how Goldberg should be booked.

Everybody bitching about Goldberg main eventing when he’s a hall of famer lmao. Ain’t his fault WWE can’t produce stars these days. Look at how AEW books Sting, he still goes over, & is a main eventer, but doesn’t fuck up the title picture. That’s how Goldberg should be booked

When did Goldberg wrestle for the last time in WWE?

Goldberg returned to WWE after a long time. He last competed in WWE at 2021 WWE Crown Jewel. On that night, he put in an impressive performance against Bobby Lashley. He defeated ‘The Almighty’ in a No Holds Barred Falls Count Anywhere match.

But Goldberg did not appear in WWE following that match till now. Earlier, Goldberg claimed he has one more match left on his current WWE contract.

And it looks like his match against Roman Reigns at the 2022 Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event will be his last match in WWE.

In case Goldberg defeats Reigns, we might also see Goldberg going up against one of his former rivals, Brock Lesnar. The Beast Incarnate has already announced he will be challenging Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 38.
