Who are the Bafta 2022 nominees and how to watch in the UK?

The recent release of epic heart-wrenching two-hour-long movies like Belfast and Dune can only mean one thing – awards season is here.
One of the most anticipated events of the year, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (Baftas) is just around the corner, with the nominees having already been announced.
While the awards ceremony is set to take place in-person, after previously being held virtually amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
But when is the event, and how can you watch it in the UK?
Here is all you need to know about the 2022 Baftas.
When are the 2022 Baftas?
This year’s ceremony is set to take place on Sunday, March 13.

The 2022 Critics Choice Awards is set to air on the same day, after being postponed from its original air date of January 9.
Where is the 2022 Baftas venue?
This year’s ceremony will take place in London’s Royal Albert Hall.
Traditionally, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have attended the Baftas together. It has yet to be confirmed whether they will attend this year’s ceremony.
Who will host the 2022 Baftas?
Australian comedian and actor Rebel Wilson will host.
In 2020, Wilson has the audience in stitches while announcing the award for best director – so fans have their hopes up for her return as host.
