“What a Freaking War!” – UFC Champions Charles Oliveira, Aljamain Sterling Among Those to React to Steven Peterson vs Julian Erosa War

UFC Fight Night has not disappointed the fans at all. The third event of 2022 had some brilliant fights on the preliminary card. And the first fight on the main card took it to a whole another level. Julian Erosa took on Steven Peterson in a catchweight battle after Peterson missed weight.

The fans expected a slugfest as both fighters don’t like to back down. And that’s exactly what they got. Erosa got off the blocks better and had ‘Ocho’ in trouble. However, he came back strong in the second round and landed some clean hard strikes, and had Erosa stunned multiple times.

Both fighters didn’t back out and gave the fans and everyone watching an absolute treat. It was a barn burner, and they both left everything inside the octagon. After a closely fought battle, ‘Juicy J’ was able to get the victory. He won the fight via a split decision and has now won five of his last six fights.

The biggest stars in the sport-tuned in for the fight and couldn’t contain their excitement. The UFC bantamweight champion, Aljamain Sterling, was one of them. He wrote, “This fight is WILD! UFC bantamweight competitor and an absolute warrior himself, Adrian Yanez couldn’t contain his excitement as well. He wrote, “That was a hell of a fight!!”

Damon Martin from MMA Fighting also reacted to the fight and was gutted that Peterson missed weight.
