Chloe fans spot massive blunder in ‘posh girl’ storyline – after no one questions Becky’s 18-year-old car
CHLOE fans were left scratching their heads during the latest episode of the drama thanks to a massive blunder involving her car.
The BBC1 thriller follows the story of penniless Becky, who has become obsessed on social media with a rich and successful woman called Chloe.

In a sinister twist, Becky was seen discovering Chloe had died in the first episode – so is now worming her way into her widower Elliot’s life.
She is doing this by pretending to be extremely wealthy herself and stealing money from her own mother to live up to her fabricated lifestyle.
The crazed character even adopts a ‘posh’ accent when in the company of Elliot and his and late-Chloe’s friends.
But on Monday night, fans were left puzzled after Becky drove herself to an extremely lavish party in her 18-year-old VW Golf.
None of the well-heeled attendees questioned her 2004-plate car, and neither did Elliot when she gave him a lift home to his multi-million pound mansion.
Becky was then seen driving back home in the dark green banger the following day, having spent the night in Elliot’s bed.
Taking to Twitter, one viewer wrote: “Somebody turns up to posh ‘do’s in a 2001 VW and no one bats an eyelid … #Chloe.”
Another wrote: “#Chloe Why have none of these thirty somethings laughed at her car yet?”
A third mused: “That s*** car surely would have raised alarm bells with the posh t**** – apart from that I’m loving #Chloe (good soundtrack too).”
And another asked: “Do any of her rich friends wonder why she drives such a crappy car? #Chloe.”
Chloe, created by Sex Education writer Alice Seabright, stars Erin Doherty as Becky. Erin is known for playing the young Princess Anne in The Crown.
The first episode saw Becky engineer a ‘chance’ meeting with Chloe’s best friend Livia, played by Death in Paradise star Pippa Bennett-Warner.
After befriending her, the character was seen joining Livia’s swanky gym so they could attend yoga classes together.
However, the drama has since stepped up a gear.
After giving Elliot a lift home in her VW Golf, Becky lured her way into his huge home – and bed.

The next day, she was seen answering the landline phone and pretending to be Chloe when the caller said they were from the hospital.
‘Chloe’ was asked if she wanted to rearrange a missed fertility appointment, so she agreed and then attended it. Taking on the dead woman’s identity, she was even seen accepting an injection to help boost her fertility.
The six-parter began on Sunday night and will continue on Sunday January 13 at 9pm, as well as being available on BBC iPlayer.
