After a long wait, Lewis Hamilton is back on social media. A couple of days back Hamilton posted for the first time in two months after his disappointing championship loss in Abu Dhabi.

The seven-time world champion declared his return in his post on Instagram. It looks like the Mercedes driver is back to being prolific and would stay more active on the platform from now on. In his Instagram stories, Lewis Hamilton posted a video of him jogging with his trainer Angela Cullen in London.

Hamilton wrote, ” Good morning London” while jogging on the streets of the city. It looks like the British driver has begun his training for the 2022 season.

Can Lewis Hamilton bounce back in 2022?

The sport will introduce new rules and regulations from the 2022 season. The new cars will make racing easier for the drivers and expect to bring the field closer. Mercedes technical director Mike Elliott revealed how the 2022 cars would be different from the previous iterations.

“This year’s cars are going to be hugely different. I think the most visible difference will be the aerodynamic shape of the car. Not only are the aerodynamics different, but the whole way the regulations are constructed are completely different.” said Elliot.

“The power unit this year is very different as well. That is going to be fit until 2025, and that also has to run what’s called E10 fuel… We have 18-inch rims and tires to go with that so I think that is going to be quite a big difference and there is also an increase in mass,” said the Mercedes technical director.

Lewis Hamilton faces a new challenge entering the 2022 season. Not only with respect to the car, but he also has a new teammate in George Russell. To make another championship bid, Hamilton would have to assert his dominance over the young driver and make his charge. Let’s wait and see if the seven-time world champion can challenge for his eighth in 2022.
