Khloe Kardashian’s ex Tristan Thompson traded to Indiana despite vowing to retire from NBA in texts to new baby mama
KHLOE Kardashian’s ex Tristan Thompson was traded to Indiana despite recently claiming that he was retiring from the NBA in a conversation with his new baby mama.
The athlete made the decision earlier this year after welcoming his third child with fitness trainer Maralee Nichols.

However, according to a tweet posted by ESPN, Tristan is not stepping back from the game just yet.
The network made the announcement on Tuesday via Twitter that Tristan will be leaving the Sacramento Kings to join the Indiana Pacers for the upcoming season.
Their tweet read: “Breaking: The Pacers are trading Domantas Sabonis, Jeremy Lamb and Justin Holiday to Sacramento for Tyrese Hailburton, Buddy Hield and Tristan Thompson, sources tell @wojespn.”
The news contradicts the Canadian basketball player’s previous plans of hanging up his basketball shoes in an effort to lower his child support payments from his three baby mamas.
In addition to his newborn son who he shares with Maralee, Tristan, 30, is also dad to daughter True, three, with his ex Khloe Kardashian, and son Prince, five, with his ex Jordan Craig.
The sports star has been undergoing a complicated child support battle with his youngest child’s mother since his paternity was confirmed last month.

Prior to their child’s birth, Maralee filed a lawsuit for paternal support against Tristan after claiming that they conceived a baby on the night of Tristan’s birthday in March.
In his response, the Sacramento Kings player admitted to having sex with her “several times” at a Houston hotel after they attended his party together.
The personal trainer filed the suit on June 30, just days after moving from Texas to Los Angeles.
COSTLY EXPENSES
The fitness guru has requested child support as well as “reimbursement of medical expenses and pregnancy-related costs such as Lamaze classes, a doula, and prenatal vitamins.”
In the papers, Maralee has also asked that Tristan pay for costly items needed after the baby’s birth, including “clothing, formula, and diapers.”
The former Boston Celtics player has asked that the court move the case to Maralee’s native Texas, in order to limit the amount of his child support contributions.
He also claimed he would retire from the NBA after this current season and will be unemployed – which it seems he has since changed his mind about.
New York marriage lawyer Morghan Leia Richardson told HollywoodLife millionaire Tristan will be paying for his son until he turns 18 now that a paternity test has proved he’s the father.
Although the court papers are now sealed in LA, the attorney estimated he will be paying big bucks each month, along with payments for his two other children.
CHILD SUPPORT
“In looking at a support award, the court will review both parents’ monthly incomes, and the amount of time that the child spends with each parent,” the attorney said.
“All income, including money/wages, tips, commissions, bonuses, unemployment benefits, interest income, dividend income, rental income, insurance payouts – all of it is fair game for calculating child support.
The reality star will most likely be required to shell out as much as $40K a month in child support to Maralee based on his current salary.
The attorney did pose a potential way to lower the costs for the KUWTK’s star, which was to quit the NBA.
Morghan said: “Sports players have a limited career span, and he has 3 young children to support.
“I hope that everyone involved in this is setting money aside for the kids. If he is injured or can no longer play, he may at some point seek a support reduction.”
