No, Ant Anstead’s son, 2, didn’t give himself homemade haircut with butter knife: ‘Who didn’t get that?’

Ant Anstead has cleared up confusion surrounding his son Hudson’s ‘butter knife haircut’.
The Celebrity IOU: Joyride host accidentally sent us all into a spin when he shared a video of his youngest child, who he shares with ex-wife Christina Haack, on his Instagram story, innocently buttering a slice of toast.
Alongside the clip, which was followed by a picture of the two-year-old’s hairdo, he wrote: ‘Butters his own toast…
‘And cuts his own hair (with the same butter knife!!!!!!).’
However, the star – who is currently dating Renee Zellweger – was later forced to address the clips after it made headlines, and insisted that it was just a joke.
In a new video on his story, the dad-of-three told followers: ‘I think it’s fair to say people are crazy.

‘I mean come on, of course Hudson didn’t cut his own hair with a butter knife. It’s called sarcasm.
‘Who didn’t get that?’
Ant welcomed Hudson with Christina in 2019, before the former couple called time on their marriage in 2020.
He is also dad to Amelia, 18, and Archie, 15, with his first wife, Louise – with the pair recently joining their dad for a poignant family Christmas.
His eldest children live in the UK and were unable to travel to the US earlier due to the Covid-19 pandemic, meaning that their recent celebrations were even more important.
It was a big moment in the Anstead household as it also marked the first time the teenagers met Renee in person after Ant started dating the Oscar winner last year.
‘It was great,’ he told People Magazine of their festivities. ‘I mean, Renee’s so personable, and so great with people, and they’ve met a few times on FaceTime, so everybody was excited to finally get together.

‘Of course, everybody got on famously. It’s really nice.’
‘There were a lot of big firsts for them,’ he continued. ‘New house, seeing Hudson, meeting Ren… It was great.’
Speaking of his daughter’s ‘instant’ bond with the Oscar winner, Ant added: ‘She and Ren really hit it off. Just as two girls.’
