Stephen Curry Reveals Why President Obama Felt He Wasn’t the Greatest Shooter of All Time

Stephen Curry is the greatest shooter to ever live, and he had revolutionized the way that basketball is played. He recently became the all-time leader in 3 pointers made and he is still nowhere close to being done. He is one of the best players in the league and he is also one of the most popular.

One of the reasons Curry is the greatest of all time is his jump shot. His jump shot is so beautiful and his release is very quick which makes it almost impossible to guard. It also has a very high arc which makes it even harder to contest. Even if he’s guarded by taller and quicker defenders, Curry can get off his jump shot within an instant, and more often than not, it goes in. He also has unlimited range, and he is a threat as soon as he crosses the half-court line.

But one person believes his jump shot might not be the best on his own team. That person is none other than former President Barack Obama. Obama said that Curry’s teammate, Klay Thompson, has a prettier jump shot than him. He said this during the Warriors White House visit back in 2016 after the Warriors won the title in 2015.

“Klay has textbook form,” says Stephen Curry

Recently, Stephen Curry was on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon with his wife, Ayesha Curry. Fallon congratulated Curry on being the greatest shooter officially, but he told that President Obama disagrees with that sentiment. Curry replied, ” He did. He took a different spin on it. Obviously, I have an amazing shooter and teammate in Klay Thompson and we won the championship back in 2015. We went to the White House to meet him”

“He says, Steph I know you can shoot but I think Klay Thompson has a much prettier form than you do… If I was teaching somebody how to shoot, Klay has textbook form… I always think I’m the better shooter.”

Klay Thompson is also one of the greatest shooters of all time and he is incidentally Curry’s teammate. Both of them were integral parts of the Golden State Dynasty that made the NBA finals 5 times in a row. The duo is nicknamed the Splash Brothers and they are the greatest shooting backcourt of all time. It would seem unfair having one of them on your team, but the Golden State Warriors have both of them, and this makes it a nightmare to defend.
