Mum shares clever way she cleans her oven rack without making your sink filthy & people are branding it a “gamechanger”

A clever homeowner has revealed the “game-changing” way she tackles her grimy oven trays while she sleeps – and it’s really quite simple.

Kayleigh, who is from the UK, took to TikTok and asked: “Looking for an easy way to clean your oven racks?”

Then, in a video which has since garnered over 15,000, the cleaning fanatic can be seen adding warm water to a bath, before throwing in a couple of dishwasher tablets.

“Leave to soak for as long as possible – preferably overnight,” she urged.

“Wipe away the grime and then rinse.”

Kayleigh then showed impressive before and after photos, where her newly cleaned oven trays look brand, sparkling new.

Unsurprisingly, the video quickly attracted thousands of views with many vowing to give it a go themselves.

“Omg why have I never thought of launching them in the bath?!’ questioned one. “I always rage scrub them in the sink that they are faaaaar too big for.”

A second commented: “Just about broke my wrist doing this today, now I see this. What a good idea!!”

A third joked: “Can I throw the whole oven in the tub to soak,” while a fourth branded the cleaning hack a “game changer.”

And, in response to someone who asked what to use if they don’t have a bathtub, Kayleigh suggested: “A large storage box would do the tick.”
