My mother-in-law sent me a screengrab of the dress she’s wearing to my wedding & I’m fuming – she’ll look like the bride

A BRIDE-TO-BE has been left fuming, after her soon-to-be mother-in-law showed the dress she was planning to wear for the big day.

The upset woman took it to the popular forum, Reddit, where she shared a screenshot of the short conversation between the two.

After finding out that her partner’s mum had found the perfect outfit for her son’s wedding, the bride wanted to see it.

”What does your dress look like I heard you ordered it.”

The ”almost mother-in-law” then sent her a photo of the new purchase by the brand JJ’s House.

Although the silk dress wasn’t white, many readers of the post were quick to point out that the woman must’ve realised it wasn’t appropriate, as she quickly went to defend herself.

”She knows it’s not good, you didn’t ask what the colour was, yet she felt compelled to tell you it’s champagne,” said someone.

However, it appeared as she had no reason to worry as some shoppers had had a bad experience with the brand, with one writing: ”If it makes you feel better I ordered this exact color sample recently.

”It’s definitely more yellow in person and does not photograph well.”

”Well it’s coming from JJ’s House so it’s going to be total crap and not look anything like the picture so she’ll probably have to get a new dress anyway,” another added.

”Can confirm,” a mortified customer shared, ”Ordered a wedding dress from JJ’s and it made me look like a marshmallow.

”I cried and my mom bought me a different one from in town. No idea what I should do with god awful one that was “tailored” to my measurements.”

A supportive Redditor had come up with a plan and suggested: ”If she isn’t married yet, I would wait until her wedding and than choose the whitest and more bridal dress in a store […], than, when she freak put, because she definitely wouldn’t like another bride in her wedding I would say “is not white, is ‘coconut ice cream’ (or whatever)”.

”I would never wear this dress in the real wedding, cause I have sense and I’m better than this, but she would only know this in the day…”

In other news, wedding guest fumes over ‘insulting’ meal they were served… and people agree they have a point.

Meanwhile, one woman reveals she got so drunk at her wedding that she was sick before 6pm and was intoxicated by the speeches.

Plus, a woman has revealed that her husband has called her an “a**hole” after she set a trap for his mum who kept sneaking into their bedroom.
