Android 12 has hidden feature which makes reading while you’re in bed easier

IF you have ever struggled to read on your Android while lying down, there is a hidden feature to fix the issue.

Thanks to a feature in Android 12, users can browse their phones in bed without the screen’s annoying autorotate function.

Android 12 has a face detection system that sees the the position of your face relative to your phone.

This way the phone can keep its orientation locked to whatever angle your face is in, even if the phone flips on its side, as reported by CNET.

To turn on this feature, head over to settings and scroll down to the Display option.

Then, scroll down and click on  “Auto-rotate screen.”

Once in this submenu, you will see an option to turn off the autorotate feature and turn on face detection.

You should turn on both features so your phone is still able to autorotate when you turn it on its side, but will face the right way when you’re lying down.

Android 12 offers other hidden features that can improve users experience.

Aside from the face detection system, the Android 12’s quick menu allows to customize the setting tiles and adjust it to their preferences.
