Ranvir Singh paid tribute to GMB’s long-running programme organiser Paul Dorrian on Monday morning as announced his death alongside co-star Richard Madeley.
Good Morning Britain returned on Monday morning as Singh, 44, presented alongside Madeley, 65.
But the former Strictly star had some sad news to break early on in the show, as she announced the team lost Dorrian, 57, over the weekend.
She told viewers in a poignant speech: ‘As you know, the show just isn’t what it is without the talented team who work behind-the-scenes here, who get everything on air for us every morning.
‘It is with real sadness in our hearts we have to say we’ve lost one of our beloved colleagues this weekend

‘He was a really close friend to everyone on the team, so there is a real sadness behind-the-scenes today.’
The presenter sent her love on behalf of the show to his partner Mike, two brothers and the rest of his family as she continued her tribute.
