It was one of the most distinct attributes of his career in the NBA, which made him a step above the rest. Recently, former WWE presenter Renee Paquette explained her bewilderment at Shaq’s size to another former player in Charles Barkley. Evidently, he was quite confused.

A 15-time All-Star, Shaquille O’Neal remains one of the most revered personalities in the sporting world. Even after his two decade long stint in America’s top flight, he is flourishing in the business sector.
Apart from this, the 4-time NBA champion also makes several contributions towards the society. However, O’Neal’s first meeting with the beautiful Renee Paquette didn’t go quite as planned. And here’s the hilarious reason why.

Renee Paquette details first thoughts upon meeting Shaquille O’Neal to Charles Barkley
Appearing together on NBA TNT, Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley are close friends. A 11-time All-Star himself, ‘Chuck’ is still one of the 76ers’ best forwards till date. However, the lesser known fact is that before his full time inclusion as an analyst, Shaq once appeared at WWE’s showpiece event – WrestleMania. He stood face to face with the likes of the Big Show, but there was no further development in his WWE career.

Chatting with Barkley, Renee addressed how she thought O’Neal was ‘ugly’ when she met him. Explaining her fan girl moment at wanting to interview the legendary Lakers center, she said, “I thought we were gonna see Shaq and Big Show, which we never got to see.”
To this, Barkley made an astonishing revelation, revealing that Renee’s first thought upon meeting him was that he was ugly. Additionally he added, “Is he not the biggest human you ever seen in your life?”
While Renee did term Shaq as ugly, she was also head over heels for the star. Will we ever see O’Neal in a WWE ring again? Regardless, that’d surely be what’s best for business!
