Kanye West claims he has ‘suicidal’ urges & his ‘brain feels too big for his skull’ on Jeen-yuhs Netflix documentary

KANYE West reportedly claimed he’s been dealing with “suicidal” feelings in his new Jeen-yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy documentary on Netflix.

Part one of the doc released to the platform on Wednesday, just days after fans witnessed the rapper’s latest social media rant, this time aimed at ex Kim Kardashian’s new boyfriend.

Though the next two segments of the documentary won’t arrive until the coming weeks, NYPost reported that the third part features Kanye’s revelation.

He opens up about how much he’s struggled in the past and continues to do so now, according to the outlet.

Kanye says in  Jeen-yuhs: “I already had the house and the wife and the kids and the plaques. . . but still have moments where I felt, like, suicidal.

“Still have moments where I’m addicted to Percocet without even realizing it.”

The moment of honesty and openness arrived while he was recording his 2018 album Kids See Ghosts with Kid Cudi.

He says he’d been struggling greatly since the death of his mom, Donda West, in 2007.

Later on in part three, Kim’s ex continues to share details about his mental health battle, this time while working on music in the Dominican Republic.

In a rambling discussion reminiscent of some of his social media posts, he says: “Have you guys ever been, like, locked up in handcuffs and put into a hospital because your brain was too big for your skull?

“It’s not a game. I go to the hospital for this.

“I took bipolar medication last night to have a normal conversation and turn alien to English. So what are we talking about?

“I do not communicate in a way that people understand in public because it’s just truth, and we’re in a world of lies.”

Previously, Kanye had opened up about his suicidal thoughts in 2018, both in an interview with the New York Times and on his Twitter page.

After releasing his new album Ye, which included the single I Thought About Killing You, fans became concerned about what he was trying to say with the song.

He told NYT: “Oh yeah, I’ve thought about killing myself all the time. It’s always a option.

“Like Louis C.K. said: I flip through the manual. I weigh all the options.”

The 44-year-old continued: “I’m just having this epiphany now, ‘cause I didn’t do it, but I did think it all the way through.

“But if I didn’t think it all the way through, then it’s actually maybe more of a chance of it happening.”

Soon after that interview was released, Ye took to his Twitter to share that he “connected” with Alexander McQueen’s journey after seeing a documentary about him.

“I know how it feels to want to take your life back into your own hands even if it means taking your own life,” he tweeted.

Continuing, he wrote: “To make this clear and not weird I’ve had these kinds of thoughts and I’m going to tell you things I’ve done to stay in a content place.”

He then went on to share some of his advice for getting one’s mental health into a bit better of a place.
