Molly-Mae Hague storms the runway at PrettyLittleThing new collection debut as Love Island’s Brett Staniland joins protest outside

Molly-Mae Hague led the runway at the fashion show for the new PrettyLittleThing collection, all while a former Love Island star joined protests outside.
Molly-Mae, 22, who is creative director of PLT, stormed the runway in the brand’s latest pieces, alongside a group of models.
With a whole host of reality stars and influencers in the audience – including supportive boyfriend Tommy Fury – the influencer smiled as she walked out to applause.
The event was attended by the likes of BFF Maura Higgins, Demi Sims and Ashley James.
Molly-Mae donned a matching set, showcasing an oversized blue faux leather jacket and trousers, which she teamed with a nude crop top underneath.
The successful fashion show comes after Molly-Mae said she worked 13-hour days in preparation to ensure everything was perfect.

However, while the show was underway inside the Londoner Hotel, protesters raged outside.
Around 20 demonstrators gathered outside to protest against the wages of Boohoo factory staff, which owns PLT).

One of them was Brett Staniland, a contestant on the 2021 series of Love Island.

Another protester held a sign reading: ‘PLT Creative Director Salary: £4.8million, PLT garment maker salary £7,280. Same 24 hours in a day,’ referencing controversial comments made by Molly-Mae on a podcast.

The creative director was a guest on Steven Barlett’s Diary Of A CEO pod, after which she received backlash for saying she ‘worked her a**e off’ to achieve her success and suggested that anyone could do the same because ‘we all have the same 24 hours in a day.’
Aside from her work with fashion giant PLT, Molly-Mae also recently became a multi-millionaire after signing another reported seven-figure deal with BeautyWorks, meaning she will work with the brand for another year.
