Texas Chainsaw Massacre viewers all have the same complaint about gory Netflix reboot
TEXAS Chainsaw Massacre viewers have been left disappointed with the gory Netflix remake – stating that it “should have been left alone”.
The iconic movie, which first dropped in 1974, was rebooted for the first time in 2003 and has now returned again for an updated Netflix version.

APViewers said it was underwhelming and the script was ‘all over the place’[/caption]
But this time it’s as a direct sequel to the events of the first film and follows revamped Leatherface – the masked serial killer who infamously hacks his victims apart with a chainsaw and mounts them on meat hooks.
However, viewers were left underwhelmed by the sequel and said it’s “got nothing on the original”.
One wrote: “The new Netflix Chainsaw Massacre has got nothing on the original or even the one after that.”
Another posted: “Just finished the Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake. Original was way better.”
“Why are they always remarking films?? They should have left it alone. Texas Chainsaw original is by far the best,” a third tweeted.
Someone else said: “It’s a terrible film, politically woke. #TexasChainsawMassacre”

Another shared: “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre script is all over the place.”
Someone else echoed: “The new Texas Chainsaw Massacre is a lot like Halloween 2018 only with worse direction, a worse script, worse acting, worse characters and not even much in the way of inventive or interesting kills, solely relying on gore in a dull, boring film.
However, not all fans were disappointed with some praising the film as “gripping” and “just the right amount of gore”.
The gruesome flick stars Elsie Fisher (Eighth Grade), Sarah Yarkin (Happy Death Day 2U), Jacob Latimore (The Maze Runner) and Moe Dunford (Vikings).
However, production on the project wasn’t exactly been plain-sailing.
In August, co-director Andy and Ryan Tohill were abruptly pulled from the project and replaced by David Blue Garcia.
During the handover, production in Bulgaria was shut down as creative differences were ironed out.
