NEYMAR produced one of the worst penalties EVER as Paris Saint-Germain were beaten 3-1 away at Nantes.

The Brazilian, 30, had the chance to pull his side back into the match but squandered the opportunity with a shocking miss.

If his strike found the back of the net Mauricio Pochettino’s side would have had 30 minutes to find an equaliser.

But instead PSG have been humbled following their 1-0 win over Real Madrid on Tuesday.

Lionel Messi missed a penalty in that match and it seems PSG will have to continue their search for an expert from 12 yards following Neymar’s miss.

The forward tiptoed his way to the penalty spot Paul Pogba style and it seemed to affect the power he generated.

Neymar tried to deceive goalkeeper Alban Lafont as he rolled his tame effort towards the centre of the goal, allowing Lafont to save comfortably.

Minutes earlier Neymar had handed his side a lifeline after PSG trailed 3-0 at half-time.

Messi picked out his team-mate with a glorious pass and Neymar turned brilliantly in the box before firing into the back of the net.

But the pair struggled to respond to the penalty miss as PSG suffered just their second league loss of the season.

Pochettino may now decide to hand the penalty-taking responsibility to Kylian Mbappe, who scored the winner against Real in mid-week.

He is also PSG’s top scorer this season with 22 goals, 19 more than Neymar has managed.
