It’s Saturday night, and if that wasn’t enough to get you excited, then maybe the return of Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway will do the trick.

The beloved Geordie duo is back on ITV for a new series of the award-winning variety show, which has been entertaining viewers for a whopping 20 years.

The pair will be joined by a line-up of celebrity guests to help them liven up your evening, and will of course be getting up to some mischief with the first episode set to feature a prank on The Grand Tour’s Jeremy Clarkson.

But what time does it start and what else can fans expect to see in the first episode of the new 2022 series?

The first episode of series 18 starts tonight – February 18 – at 7pm on ITV.

Along with the return of the celebrity prank – watch your back, Clarkson – fans can expect to see all their favourite games and sketches in the programme make a welcome return.

The first guest announcer for the series will be RuPaul Charles, host of RuPaul’s Drag Race – and that is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Drag Race talent.

The ‘End of the Show Show’ will feature a performance from all three previous winners of Drag Race UK – The Vivienne, Lawrence Chaney and Krystal Versace – performing together for the first time on TV.

Stephen Mulhern will also have a brand new high octane challenge for the I’m A Celebrity hosts in the Ant vs Dec part of the show, while Radio 1 DJ Jordan North presents a new prize segment ‘Gift on a Shift.’

You can also expect to see the return of Fleur East and Andi Peters across the 90-minute broadcast, along with a number of live surprises for the studio audience and you at home.

So, make sure you order your favourite delivery and settle in for a night of laughs once again with Ant and Dec.
