“We’re Always Proud of You”: Fans Bow Down to Yuzuru Hanyu for Mesmerizing Display at Figure Skating Gala at Beijing Winter Olympics 2022
Japanese figure skater Yuzuru Hanyu stole hearts at the Beijing Winter Olympics. The defending champion was the popular choice for the Gold Medal, but things didn’t go as planned as he coulnd’t add to his collection. However, fans got to watch Yuzuru one last time at the Olympics at the Figure Skating Gala was held on February 20.
Hanyu was one of the figure skaters who graced the ice with his presence. Fans went berserk to see their favorite champion, as he glided through the ice and absolutely crushed his performance at the Figure Skating Gala.
Decked in hues of white, purple, blue, and a burst of other colors, Hanyu performed his level best, putting on a display of skills.

Fans flooded Twitter soon after his performance, sharing photos and videos of the maestro in his element. They thanked him again and again for being the legend that he is, inspiring and motivating everyone.

Yuzuru Hanyu may not have won a medal at the Beijing Winter Olympics, but he has won much more than that. For his fans, he is the true figure skating legend and will always be their champion.

There was nothing more to worry about as Yuzuru performed at the Gala. While he did his best and it may not have been enough, he knew he still ruled the hearts of figure skating fans.

Even though Hanyu was injured, he did not sit back. He went out there and showed once again just how much this sport meant to him. Yuzuru Hanyu will leave Beijing as a people’s champion.
