Jessie J shares heartfelt tribute to late friend Jamal Edwards: ‘I can’t believe this is real’

Jessie J has added her voice to the chorus paying tribute to the ‘light’ of Jamal Edwards after his sudden death, sharing that she ‘can’t believe this is real’.
The 33-year-old singer took to Instagram in a outpouring of love for the SBTV founder and music entrepreneur, who died on Sunday aged 31.
Sharing video clips they had taken of one another, including a few seconds from their joint appearance on Celebrity Goggle Box, the Price Tag singer wrote: ‘Your light Your ideas Your work ethic Your laugh Your laugh 💔
‘Your care for every person you met was unmatched.’
Turning to their personal bond, she continued: ‘But your friendship… Phew. That’s why my heart is broken.
‘We had plans bro. I can’t believe this is real.’
‘I love you @jamaledwards.’
The British music mogul, who founded the online music channel SBTV at the age of 15, and was awarded an MBE in 2014, is credited with helping launch the career of huge names, including Jessie and Ed Sheeran.
